For 2011 SWDT has planned a series for events, mostly involving the Trust's trip boat, Future Perfect.
Saturday 30th July 2011 TREASURE HUNT CREECH ST MICHAEL
Exciting Fun for all the Family!
Start/Meet at Canal Car Park @ 2pm
£3.50 per person
to include Pub Basket Meal

Future Perfect provided boat trips on the River Tone in Taunton on St George's Day during the Brewhouse England my England festival, and during the Trust's Easter Egg Hunt on easter Sunday in Creech St Michael.
We are also considering other ways to make the most of Future Perfect by organising nature walks and boat trips, cycle rides and boat trips, Saturday boat trips on the River Tone, special boat trips to coincide with events in Taunton, Langport and on other waterways in Somerset.
If you have any ideas for places or events where a visit from Future Perfect would be enjoyed please let us know. Future Perfect is also available for private bookings and there are special arrangements for schools and charities. Contact Alec Hay to discuss and get all the details.

Santa Cruise !!
The Christmas Santa Cruises have been a great success, with over 300 people enjoying a relaxing cruise and the festive fun at Santa's Grotto over the last two weekends. The adults enjoyed hot drinks and mince pies, with mulled wine available too, warmed up on a rather smoky brazier. The children all got a gift from Santa and made christmas cards - glue and glitter everywhere! The weather was kind on the whole, some sunshine and a bit of rain rather than snow and ice like last year.
The Christmas Raffle was well received, with lots of great prizes donated, for which we are very grateful. Click here to see the results of the raffle.
