Future Perfect arrives at Bathpool

On Friday 19 March, Future Perfect was loaded onto her new trailer and towed from Great Yarmouth down to Bathpool. John the electrician drove the Landrover, with Richard and Monica Dommett on hand in case of any trouble along the way.

The trailer performed perfectly and the journey went without incident, though having left Norfolk in the sunshine a shower of Somerset rain met them on their arrival.

The new passenger launch has been stored in British Waterways yard for the weekend and will be put on the slipway on Monday.

A formal launch day for the public will be announced shortly, but in the meantime Trust members are invited to come and see Future Perfect at Bathpool Marina on Saturday 27 March between 10am and 2pm.
