Future Perfect Community Boat Launch

The Trust's new community boat service will be formally launched at 12.00 noon on Friday 30 April on the Bridgwater Canal at Bathpool Near Taunton. Taunton Deane's Mayor, Cllr Bob Bowrah, will be cutting the ribbon to mark the start of a service which will become a familiar sight on the Canal, on the River Tone in Taunton and on other navigable waterways in Somerset. After the launch there will be an opportunity to take an electric powered boat trip up the canal and back up until about 3pm. All Trust Members, and anyone interested in seeing Future Perfect, are invited along. For those who cannot come on the Friday, We will be running boat trips from 10am until 3pm on the canal at Creech St Michael on Saturday 1 May and on the Bank Holiday Monday, 3 May. We plan to start regular visits to the River Tone and Taunton Town Centre later in May.
